Table Leaf Linkage

The goal of this project was to create a mechanism that allows a table to easily slide open and automatically position a leaf to extend the surface. We decided the input motion would be the table halves separating and that the mechanism should store the leaf as a part of the table when it is not in use. To accomplish this, we used a simple linkage design.

My primary contributions to this project were design analysis and construction.
