Capstone Design Project

For my capstone senior design project, I am collaborating with a team of mechanical engineers to design and develop an animatronic eyeball with a full range of motion and precise positional tracking. Sponsored by Animax Designs, we are addressing the engineering challenge by implementing a three omni-wheel system, each driven by a stepper motor for accurate movement control. To accomplish the position tracking portion of the project, we have begun incorporating an accelerometer/gyroscope inside the eyeball. While I contribute across all aspects of the project, my primary responsibilties focus on designing CAD components and assembly models, putting together the housing structure, and managing the project's organization and workflow. This ongoing experience allows us to work closely with industry professionals, gain deeper insights into the engineering design process, and progress toward delivering a functional prototype with real-world applications.
